SMS Opt-In Consent

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from PRC Builders, you expressly consent to receive text messages from us at the phone number you provided. This consent is not a condition of purchase or service.

You agree to receive transactional and service-related SMS messages, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Job status updates (scheduled, en route, completed)
  • Weather-related service alerts (snow removal, delays)
  • One-time passcodes (OTP) and secure login links for the customer portal
  • Invoice notifications and payment confirmations
  • Direct responses to customer inquiries
  • Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations
  • Account notifications and security alerts

Use Case Description

PRC Builders uses SMS messaging strictly for transactional and customer-initiated communications. We do not send promotional or marketing messages via SMS. Our messaging services are designed to:

  • Account Notifications: Keep you informed about your account status, updates, and important changes
  • Customer Care: Provide timely responses to your inquiries and service requests
  • Security Alerts & 2FA: Protect your account with two-factor authentication and security notifications
  • Transactional Updates: Notify you about job status, scheduling, and service completion

Service Alert Example:

"PRC Builders: Your snow removal service is scheduled for tonight. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out."

Opt-In Confirmation:

"PRC Builders: You're subscribed to service notifications and account alerts. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

Help Message:

"PRC Builders Support: For assistance call 203-909-8639 or email pat@prcbuilds.com. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your service activity and account interactions. You may receive messages related to scheduled services, emergencies, security alerts, or in response to your inquiries. We do not send a fixed number of messages per week or month, as our SMS communications are strictly transactional and event-driven.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. PRC Builders does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge you for receiving text messages. Please contact your mobile carrier for information about your specific messaging plan and any applicable charges.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is available on major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and other participating carriers. Please check with your carrier if you have questions about SMS service availability.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message
  • Contacting us at (203) 909-8639 or pat@prcbuilds.com
  • Updating your preferences in your customer portal account settings

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and then you will no longer receive SMS messages from PRC Builders. Note that opting out of SMS will not affect other forms of communication such as email or phone calls regarding your active services or contracts.

Terms & Conditions

By opting in to SMS messaging, you agree to:

  • Provide a valid mobile phone number that you own and control

  • Notify us immediately if you no longer have access to the provided number
  • Be responsible for all messages sent and received on your phone number
  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding use of mobile devices and SMS

Changes to SMS Terms

We reserve the right to modify these SMS terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via SMS or email. Your continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

Service Availability

SMS message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier's network availability and may be affected by factors outside our control, including but not limited to network outages, technical issues, or phone settings. PRC Builders is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
